Frequently Asked Questions

General Insurance Questions

Q: What types of insurance do you offer?

A: I help individuals and families with affordable health, dental, vision, life, cancer, and accident insurance. We’ll find the plan that fits both your needs and your budget.

Q: What states are you licensed in?

A: I currently serve clients in Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Q: Do I have to meet in person to get insurance?

A: Nope! All appointments are done by phone or virtually. I’ll walk you through everything step-by-step.

Q: How much does it cost to work with you?

A: There’s no cost to speak with me or get quotes. I’m a licensed agent, so I’m paid directly by the insurance carriers — never by you.

Q: How much will my insurance cost?

A: It depends. Everyone’s situation is different. Depending on what type of coverage you need, pricing is based on things like your age, location, household size, income (for ACA plans), coverage amount and overall health. That’s why I don’t give cookie-cutter quotes. I take the time to get to know your needs and budget, then help you find the best options available. The good news? There’s no cost to talk with me and find out what you qualify for.

Health Insurance

Q: Do you offer Marketplace/ACA plans?

A: Yes, I can help you apply for Marketplace coverage through the ACA (Affordable Care Act), check subsidy eligibility, and find the best plan for your situation.

Q: What if I don’t qualify for ACA subsidies?

A: I’ll still help you find competitive private plans or short-term options that work for your health and financial needs.

Q: Can you help self-employed individuals or families?

A: Absolutely. I work with a lot of self-employed individuals, freelancers, and families without job-based insurance.

Dental, Vision, Cancer & Accident Insurance

Q: What does dental insurance usually cover?

A: Most plans help with routine cleanings, x-rays, and basic services like fillings — and some even cover major procedures like crowns and dentures.

Q: Is vision insurance worth it?

A: If you wear glasses or contacts, yes! Vision plans often cover exams and provide discounts or allowances for frames and lenses.

Q: Why would someone need cancer or accident coverage?

A: These policies pay you cash in the event of a covered diagnosis or injury, helping with medical bills, travel, or even lost income while you recover.

Life Insurance & Final Expense

Q: What kind of life insurance do you offer?

A: I offer term life, whole life, and final expense (burial) insurance. We’ll talk through what makes the most sense based on your goals and health history.

Q: What is final expense insurance?

A: It’s a simple life insurance policy designed to help your loved ones cover burial or cremation costs and other final bills when you pass away.

Q: Can I qualify even if I’ve had health issues?

A: In many cases, yes. I’ll ask you a few health questions upfront to help match you with the best options.

Appointments, Quotes, & Website Questions

Q: Do I have to book an appointment to get a quote?

A: Yes — right now, all quotes are done through scheduled appointments. This gives us a chance to talk through your needs, answer any questions, and make sure you’re getting the right coverage for your situation. You can book a time that works for you directly on my website. Click HERE to book your appointment.

Q: What do I need for my appointment?

A: It helps to have info like your date of birth, income (if applying for Marketplace coverage), and any current coverage you may have.

Q: What if I’m just comparing options?

A: That’s totally fine. I’m here to help you understand what’s out there, with no pressure.
